Tristan joined, then named, John & John PLLC in August of 2003 and is a licensed Certified Public Account (CPA) in the state of Idaho.  He is originally from Idaho Falls graduating from Hillcrest High School.  He received his BS in Accounting from Utah State University.  He went on to also earn his Masters in Accounting and Personal Financial Planning from Utah State University.

Tristan’s practice focuses primarily on income tax consulting and preparation for both individuals and businesses. Tristan works closely with business owners in the areas of farming, ranching, construction, retail, food service, and medical areas.

Tristan’s wife, Julie, is also from Idaho Falls. They have four children and spend the majority of their free time doing things together as a family. When it is not tax season the John family enjoys swimming, biking, canoeing, hiking and anything baseball. They love going places that they have not been to before.

Tristan’s hobbies include family history work, golf, and dutch oven cooking. Tristan also enjoys watching sports; his brothers and Dad have been going to the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament since 1990. He also enjoys watching the Seattle Mariners and collecting PEZ dispensers.
